1. Owner of the website

In accordance with article 10 of Spanish Law 34/2002 on Information Society Services and Electronic Commerce (LSSI-CE), the website events.fabricai.es ("the service") is operated by FabricAI, Spain. Contact: info@fabricai.es.

2. Purpose

The service is an archive of events of political and societal violence and of steps towards peace, coded from publicly available news reports. Access is restricted to accounts created by the administrator.

3. Use of the service

Use of the service is governed by the Terms of use. Personal data are processed as described in the Privacy policy; the use of cookies is described in the Cookie policy.

4. Intellectual property

The software, the design, the coding scheme INTAGLIO and its documentation, and the compilation of the archive belong to FabricAI, except for third-party components used under their own licences: CAMEO (event codebook), PLOVER (Open Event Data Alliance, CC BY-SA 4.0), GeoNames (CC BY 4.0), OpenStreetMap map tiles (© OpenStreetMap contributors, ODbL), Natural Earth (public domain), IBM Plex and Source Serif fonts (SIL Open Font Licence), Leaflet (BSD-2-Clause). News reports remain the property of their publishers; the service stores links and short quotations only.

5. Liability

Events are coded automatically by language models from news reports and may contain errors, omissions or reports later shown to be false. They are offered for information and research and must be checked against the original reports before any decision is based on them. FabricAI is not liable for decisions taken on the basis of the archive, for the content of third-party websites linked from it, or for interruptions of the service.

6. Applicable law

These terms are governed by Spanish law. Disputes are subject to the courts that are competent under applicable law; consumers may use the courts of their place of residence.
